Promotional Excellence — Food Gifts
The Holiday Gift That Keeps Your Brand Around
Holly Polston Food Gifts Q4 Gifting
Food gifts are a Q4 favorite for a reason. They’re easy to give, easy to enjoy and generally well received. In fact, the ASI 2026 Ad Impressions Study found that 94% of U.S. consumers surveyed said they would have a more favorable view of an advertiser after receiving a food gift. There’s something about receiving something you can actually enjoy that makes a gift feel thoughtful and personal.
The challenge is that food has a pretty short lifespan. Once the last piece of chocolate is gone or the bottle of wine has been opened, the gift has done its job. And while that doesn't make food gifts any less worthwhile, it does create an opportunity to think about what you can pair with them to make the impression last a little longer.
